There are 17 students peacefully sitting inside Madison Hall asking for UVA to pay its workers a living wage. They have four days worth of food. They have been threatened with arrest and expulsion if they do not leave by 5:30 pm.

THERE WILL BE A GATHERING OUTSIDE OF MADISON HALL (across the street from the Rotunda) AT 5 PM WITH PRAYER AND MUSIC TO SHOW SUPPORT. PLEASE COME.

Please email casteen@virginia.edu and lampkin@virginia.edu. Tell them you support the Living Wage campaign and the sit-in. Pass this request along to alumni friends and your parents.
