The Real Rudy

I’m not usually a fan of Robert Greenwald. I think he’s hit an miss. Outfoxed: Rhupert Murdoch’s Private War on Journalism was weak in my opinion, but Wal-Mart:The High Cost of Low Price was really good. Sometimes his arguments are balanced and well thought out, other times…not so much.

Mr. Greenwald is currently taking on a politician that is popular because voters are uneducated on the man’s actions. Mr. Greenwald as a creator media is taking his role responsibly to depict factual evidence of a significant figure acting poorly. But most importantly Rudy Giuliani is scum. He is a low life politician that backtracks on issues, associates with criminals, his children won’t speak to him, and ran New York City with an iron fist. This man will not serve the country well in ANY national capacity. And with this in mind, I’ve got no qualms about promoting Greenwald’s movie and website.

    In Guiliani’s press conferences after the attacks he made even more Fascist statements than Bush was making. I recall thinking at the that time that he would become a presidential candidate and hoping that the quotes I was hearing would be discovered and criticized… time will tell.

    I remember that on September 13th, I thought Guilani would be the next president.

    I’m not so worried anymore, but it still nags…
