The Administration
Hello friends and foes, one and all! First and foremost, PBH has seen some major revisions and tweaks recently that we hope will upgrade and facilitate the enjoyment of using this site. We have added some new regular contributors including Expo with Alec, Lucian, Eric, Jesse, and Kit still contributing regularly. Sexy and Disgraceful has also been fine tuned for everyone’s pleasure as well.
Secondly, as we grow larger, PBH continues to look for new contributors for our site. We are particularly interested in someone fluent in international relations or blog ‘punditry’, but honestly,
Lots of them. Coming towards you at a mile a minute. Yum yum yum.
We have some additions to the PBH family — Link of the Day & Video of the Day, mostly because Word of the Day was spawning off into too many arenas. If you have any suggestions for any, post them up.
Format/design changes may come in the near future as well.

ProseBeforeHos is in the midst of getting redone to a certain extent. Expect to see SERIOUS development on SexyandDisgraceful before the next month.

As you can see, we’ve added links, removed GoogleAds, and added Adbrite ads. We are also looking to upgrade to WordPress 2.0.

We got our official response from Google so we are on the prowl for a new advertiser. What do you guys recommend?
We’re looking for something unobtrusive and simple that will go along with our color scheme.
Look for more future updates — I know they are slow coming but a redesign is in the works as is some more personalities and dailies.

A quick realization that the lack of Google Ads means a 404 page displays in Internet Explorer where the ads should be, while Firefox ignores them. We are still in the process of appealing our removal (a written appeal was sent but after a week and a half ago and as of now there has been no reply).
We will be doing maintenance and updating the site’s design in the coming weeks.
Update: GoogleAds still has not replied to my inquiries and I do not know what is happening as of 1 PM on Thursday the 8th.
I did however come across this interesting morsel in a recent Washington Post online chat:
Fayetteville, N.C.: What can you say about the click-fraud lawsuit against Google by AIT announced fairly recently? If Google is required to combat click fraud, how much will it hurt revenue?

As one may have noticed, PBH has been absent of Google AdSense advertisements for the past 24 hours. This has come following an email that can be summarized verbatim as so: “It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). We have therefore disabled your Google AdSense account.”
First off, this came as a shock. The immediate response was to hit reply and say “What – can you please give details beyond an automated message?” But my thought-out response has been what brought this on?
Piercing Glares, Inticing Stares is a faux Missed Connections. This will contain humorous letters of lost love (albeit made up).
Depths of My Soul is a comical outlook on the proliferation of emo websites, the writing of melodramatic prose, and the general feel-sorry-for-me culture that has overwhelmed the pop charts and the hearts of the susceptible.
Expect more funny blogs in the future like Mr. Mailbox, your neighborhood bum, in the near future.
There is a slight issue with posting: it will appear that your browser will not send the post when you are posting. You will not get a verification of your post but it will be posted. This has resulted in people posting the same entry numerous times but I have cleaned that up. To check to see if your post actually goes up, go to the main website after you submit.

We have reached post #101. It took 3 months and a lot of development. But we’re here and this site is finally getting to where it needs to be.
Things to look for:
You can now email posts to your friends. The site has also been widened, design has been generally cleaned up, posts per author on the front page are limited to 1, Google Ads have been added.
This will now be the place to find information about updates found at WPP. This is the continued plan as we merge and interconnect our network of sites.
Current updates: Alec is the only one updating on this site. Anyone else who wants to be involved is welcome to join in. There are extensive other updates that will be coming in the near future as well.
