Good idea to play some NYC shows in an intimate venue. What a treat to see you guys do your thing and test out new material in a venue that is 1/3 the size of your usual NYC venue. We all appreciate the sentiment. Unfortunately, vampires have descended upon the tickets and they all disappeared. Right into the hands of our local ticket brokers who are now selling them back to us for over $1000 in some cases. Most people I have spoken to get the idea that the tickets were pretty much already gone BEFORE they went onsale. With your current status as free-agents without a record deal I’m a little shocked that so many insider-ticket-grubbers could still get their claws into the supply and re-route them into the hands of these crooks..errr..ticket brokers. We are all pretty sure that this sort of thing really pisses you off, as well. We certainly don’t blame you as you guys are about as ethical as anybody out there. We love you guys. But we are disappointed about getting mugged.
O.K. Except for having paid $275 for a pair of last row tickets I feel better now. Just wanted to bring this to your attention. See you at the Garden!
