New pics are up on flickr so go check ‘em out!

Today we did some work with local youth on builiding a “vivero” or tree nursery.  We chose a site behind their school and dug a trough for the bags.  Later we built a sifter for removing rocks, leaves and roots from the soil.  Lastly we employed a crap-ton of kids into filling bags with dirt and getting them ready for planing seeds.  The pictures speak for themselves I think…  just look at the album, otherwise the pics will be in the wrong order.

Other than that I am feelin’ healthy and my spanish is improving!

Luciano!! Hey, little cuz. Great pics, glad you are digging into things :) I’m watching Monday night football right now. The game is in New Orleans and there is a lot of coverage about the city and recovery effort. I was thinking of you while watching and was glad to see the new posting. Keep up the great work. How are the chicas!?

Loved the pics, Lucian, of the beginnings of your Nicaraguan adventure — it looks like a major cultural difference in living from what we are used to here. The kids all seem excited and happy to be helping, and you looked like you were a natural at helping them! Continued prayers for your endeavors and staying healthy and strong. Know your folks are so proud of you and what you are doing right now. Keep writing, Leigh-Ann

Lucian, this is Todd writing a note for Paul. He is trying to figure out how to get online to see the pictures and write you himself. He has called me a few times for help but we haven’t connected yet…so I wanted to just let you know that he is trying and he will be online soon! My folks just got online last night so they will probably figure out how to say hi before you leave!!! Just kidding, I’ll get them setup this weekend. Johny, Monica, Sean, and Gianna will be all setup to see what’s going on with you too…Online Mungo.

      Lu,

You’re looking mighty hot in those photos buddy, and I don’t mean just temperature wise! I’m happy to know you’re making along fine. Stay cool brother, that of course coming from an Anglo-American sitting in an air conditioned office!

      Hey Lu,

I love the pictures. Sounds like you are having an incredible time down there! I am going to have to go out on a limb and say I’m pretty jealous:) Corporate America vs. Making an impact on those who need it most and seeing an incredible country. Ok, I hate you…:0

Leave it to my boy Lu to make me second guess my motives in life:) (Why I value you:)

Anyway man, keep the pictures rolling! If and when I get back into school next summer, I might use that as an excuse to make a trip to South America!

Look forward to hearing from you! Keep up the awesome work!

P.s Eric(my brother) might be considering ISAT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH

      Loves,
      B
