Well folks I´m back from my site visit in Sunny Chinandega where the Devil runs for shade. I´ll go ahead and apologize for not update often but the nature of my work/training has kept me from being able to organize my thoughts enough to sit down and write. I will say that everything is going well and I´m healthy.
Since everyone else is saying stuff about the elections I will too. This sunday is going to be a big deal and I will not be able to make it to a cyber cafe for a minute so dont worry if I dont respond to anything you write immediately… Rest well knowing that we are well cared for and the Peace Corps has an established way of dealing with these things.

Sounds like the elections have made for interesting times in Nicuragua. I’ve been busy enough just following domestic elections. According to the latest polls, Virginia may see Senator Allen replaced by his Democratic challenger. Interesting times we live in. Hopefully you will be getting some fun election coverage in special english from Voice of America.

I’ll start this one in English so as to be sure that you understand what I’m writing. Sorry I missed your call, I was just not near the phone at the time and I have acquired the habit of leaving my phone perpetually on vibrate. The family is good; Jackson, (the dog) went through a brief stage were he was incessantly chewing on his paws we figured it was probably leprosy or something but it turned out to be simply some kind of rash. Amy’s enjoying her new job which has afforded her the chance to take a business trip, even if it was only to drive up to DC to get a visa (for her boss) from the Egyptian Embassy. I’m making my way through this semester; it appears that I’ll not only survive it but have done fairly well, albeit at the cost of sacrificing any sort of real social life. Oh interesting political news, hopefully you have heard by now that Donald Rumsfield has resigned; I think in the grand scheme of things this is equivalent to Darth Vader throwing the Emperor down into the pit of the Death Star. hey lu… i just talked to you today… i am glad that your tummy feels better… so excited to start planning our trip to see you… congrats on your initiatin on Wed!!! Oficially a volunteer!!! You are doing great, stay strong and and keep your goals long term and short in front of you and keep things in perspective… not missing much in the states… hopefully things will just get a little better if you know what i mean… love you and thanks you for all you are doing… it is quite an honorable way to represent the USA… LOVE YOU!

I am glad everything is going well for you. As you know i miss you a lot. IM really happy to hera that you are now an OFFICIAL VOLUNTEER that is soo cool man. You know the world needs more people like you…i really look up to you…and you really make me want to be a better person…NO LIE….I LOVE YOU!….Life is goin pretty well on this end. Just basically working a lot. I have also started going to the gym twice a day…been doing that for about 6 weeks now and starting to see some results. My family is doing well too, except that both my mum and my dad have a cold, which basically makes them big babies. hahaha. So im going to california for a week, i leave christmas day and come back january 4. were going to mexico for two or three days….you should drive up
hahaha. As usual apple is totally delicious they have just released the new mac books with DUAL intels in em….yeah its sweet i know…thast why im going to give a few minutes to get yourself together………………………………………………….ok thats enough. Some good movies coming out ….the new JAMES BOND!!!!!!!!!!! man i cannot wait. Also i just bought season 6 part 1 of the sopranos…its waiting for your return so that we can watch the remainder….btw tony dies…..hahahaha just kidding in dont know …season 6 isnt ifnished yet hahaha but i had you goin there i know i did. So im still trying to get hired as a perm employee here….except that good ol BAH’s annual budget is ummm basicaly empty so its twice as hard trying to get hired hahaha. Its cool im stickin with it it. The weather here is ok….like my father always says. “the weather in this country is just like the people….CRAZY…one day hot one day cold….Crazy i tell you” . Ive been kinda seeing this girl from my office….but i think we are “just friends” if you know what i mean wink wink..but no relationship for this guy….haha. I actually played some smooth game at my gym the other day. 1st of all let me tell you that the best friend of the girl that i am “hanging out” with is a personal trainer at my gym, and my gym..is swarming with beautiful girls (thats a lil added bonus for going twice a day 
haha ) anyways……her being there makes my job a lil more difficult as u might imagine. BUT FEAR NOT…DA ROOSH has got it under control….i met a lovely girl from NEW YORK….( i know im gonna end up marrying an italian from new york/new jersey…i can see it already). she is cool we may end up gettin a drink sometime…who knows…
OOOO also i saw the PRESTIGE this weekend…its pretty good and BORAT is hilarious. Brenton called me friday night he may ocme up for a visit this weekend. It was nice to here from him. It’s funny how much life and the relationships you have with people change after college. I basically have lost contact with some of my closest friends from school ….i hear from them maybe IF THAT…once a month or so…can you believe that i havnt heard anything from s-boogie since you left…i mean i have called and left a message but nothing. I still love him tho. Or sid who is literally 30 min from me doesnt call…yet you who is god knows how many miles away from me and you call me. That is why i was really happy to hear from brenton because its weird i give out all this love to my friends but seldomly get any back you know…and it was really nice of him to call, it showed me that my “friends” think of me despite the fact that everyone has gone their seperate ways. Anyways i guess thats part of life.
So i spoke wiht your mom the other day…it was really great talking to her. I think they are doing well from what i oculd tell…except of course that they miss you A LOT….But dont worry ill check on them from time to time.
Tv wise…Lost is still awesome….except they just had their “fall finale” and wont be back on until feb 7th….but ill have em on dvd by the time u get back so u can catch up. Well broseph…..i hope all is well with you….write back via email…..just a lil more 1 on 1.
