Dear Lucian,
WOW! Your own address. I am thankful for the pictures. Having a place to visualize when I think of you really helps. I loved the pictures of the animals; especially the dog’s paws. No actually, the dog with the pig. Gosh Lucian, you live on a farm, e i e i o. I am content with the update with just one request. The next group of photos – PLEASE include one (or more) of YOU!!! I know you will do that for your momma.
I love you and look forward to hearing about your next adventure. Be happy and most of all stay safe and healthy.
I love you, adore you,
Mommy

Lucian!!! Now I have a place to send the kids’ reply to your letter! AWESOME! Yup, you are on a farm — but what is a “chirapo” — is that a colloquialism for a dog??? Looks like he could be ferocious except for the sleeping piggy on top of him! So what exactly will your assignment be here??? Can’t wait to hear all about it. Write more soon! Leigh-Ann

Nice pad, fancy floor tile work and the windows are nice. I Like your “one with animals” photos. Also, nice to know you have great folks you enjoy next door. Most of all it is so great to talk to you. I just picked up a desk mike that is usb , so all can talk and hear. We look forward to you upgrading your house and keep the little things that sting out of your shoes. So happy that all is going well for you and know that all is well here in the Burg. Maybe I can send you a dab of dry ice to help with the heat..haha. Well son, enjoy and be safe, thanks for your giving to others. Later. Love, Pops.

Hey Lu! I just wanted to say hello and I miss you dearly. Harrisonburg just isnt the same with out you. JMU co-ed needs it’s bad cop back. How is life treating you? I haven’t read your posts lately, life got pretty crazy with finals, but I’m home now and I’m sure I’ll have plenty of free time to read up. When might you be back for a visit? I would trek any distance to have a reunion. No joke though, I miss you. I hope all is well and I can’t wait to hear from you. Emily

Hi Lucian! Thinking about you and decided to read your blog and see how you were doing. What will you be doing for Christmas? Do the natives celebrate? Your Thanksgiving sounded fun. Never been to an Embassy before! Glenn & I are hosting Christmas this year. My Mom & Dad, I should say my Mom, has her first holiday off. She is finally a guest and can just eat, drink and be merry! I just mailed out your Christmas card today to your new address so keep an eye out for it. Hope you get it before Christmas! I sent pictures of my little dollies! Nicholas reminds me of you! Wish I could offer some advise on the garden thing but I am just a disaster in that area! Please be safe and happy. We miss you and love you lots!!

xo,
Lisa
