    Happy New Year Lucian

    Grandma and I are sitting at the kitchen table having coffee this New Years Day and
    AUNT Toska is in the barn tending to her horses. We went to a movie last night and after watched the ball come down in Times Square. I played golf with Paul the other day and he kicked my butt big time. We played the Stonehouse gold course which is rated one of the top six in Virginia and right here in Toano. Todd and Amee are in Atlanta attending a wedding and will spend New YEARS there. John, Monica, Sean and Gianna are up in New York state visiting and taking Sean over to see his father. I know you are looking foward to your mom, dad and Jillians visit in March and I know they are very anxious to see you. Hopefully we will all get to see you in June for Todd and Amees wedding. We will have a dinner at our home the night before and the reception is only about 20 minuets from our home. I promise you if your able to attend that the food will be great and we will have a wounderfull time.

    Aunt Toska says that she does not know if you have the capacity to keep up with current event or recent movie releases, but we went to see Blood Diamond last night,
    a movie about the illicid diamond trade. The movie is very thought provkeing about third world countries and could only imagine what your experiences will be and the tales you will have to tell by the time you finish your term in the Peace Corp.

    Hey Lu,
    So glad you posted even a small note. We have been trying to reach you to wish you a Happy New Year, but haven’t been able to get through. So, 2007 marks the first full year that you will be in the Peace Corps, start to finish. I’m hoping that it is all that you want it to be and expect. I’m sure you will always make the best of this huge commitment. Today, Dad and I are just doing odd jobs and I’m cooking up a storm to prepare some dishes for Jillian to take back to Richmond so she’ll have some things on hand. She is so busy with clinic work now. She is going to do some work on one of your favorite Uncles. So, I imagine you are still in Granada. I hope you enjoyed yourself; catching up with the other volunteers. Stay healthy, safe and happy.

    so glad that i was able to talk to you last night even if it was two hours after your new years… i was very frustrated… lisa was really happy that she was able to talk to you too… she asks about you all the time.
    we had fun in georgetown and got a little wasted… i like the new pics… wish there were more of you in them… i see that you are a little sun burnt… are you wearing a hat when you can… your forehead and cheeks were a little PINK… lets see what we can do about that okay… love you lots… have a wonderful two thousand and seeeeven!!!

    Hey Lucian, glad to see you’re still keeping in touch with the blog thang.

    I do not know why I seem to miss the new entry, I keep clicking on the active “Luciano” and hitting the refresh button and I still wrote on the latter of our entry’s. I checked several times this weekend for an update from you and just went a head and signed in on the prior [poo and christmas] entry of yours. Oh well, hope you still saw that I was thinking about you. By the way, It that this blog time is set on your time, because it’s an hour fast here??

    Hey Lucian! Happy New Years to you too!! I am looking forward to 2007. i think it is going to be a great year for everyone. I look forward to hearing about your experiences down there. I was thinking about you the other day when I was making eggs for the kids. It is sad to think about how many people would have loved to eaten those eggs that they didn’t finish and how important what you are doing down there is. Keep up the good work and always remember you are making a difference everyday. Be proud, safe and happy. We miss you and love you lots!!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR….this is weird because its the first time in 4 years that we havnt spent that time together…i sitll hope you had a good crossover into the new year.

    QUICK FLASH BACK “THE POPE!!!”

    anyway…i just got back from california yesterday morning. It was a really nice time ill get into details later but if u want u can check out facebook for pix. Unfortunately i caught a stomach flu that has been going around so that kinda blows. Just bought a BMF wallet (u know the wallet jules has in pulp fiction) is glorious. anywasy dawg i miss you loads i talked to ur fam for xmas and they seemed to be doing well so no need to worry. Apple is coming out wiht iTV….i cannot wait…its a wireless modem type port that will allow people to view their itunes purchases (movies/tv shows etc) on their television. I dont know if i told u about GRINDHOUSE but its the new tarantino/rodriguez film comin out in a short while…it will be sweet its two movies (bout 60 min each) presented back to back with several fake movie trailers during intermission. If you get a chance go to youtube.com and search for “gino the ginni” its realy funny. Anyways i just wanted to drop you a line and give u a few updates all is well here. I hope you have fun playing with worm poop….u know me i like to poop…not sure how that relates but hey….poop is poop….and i should know esp now since ive had this stomach virus…i have pooped about 13984739283 times in the bast 48 hrs…and i shit u not that is an actual approximation.
