Not really… I assure you if anyone who makes cartoons like these works an honest day in an investing job they would think twice about saying they produce nothing. You are handling and trading school municipal bonds, pensions, IRA’s, all of these things that peoples’ lives depend on. If you come in from your 2 hour commute unfocused, that could be someone’s life that you ruin. Its more than insulting to lump all traders and financiers into one generalized category that is known as “Wall Street”. These protestors never understand that there are very few “fat cats” at the top of the chain, most people who work on Wall Street are honest hard workers.
