A big fuck you to Jerry Falwell from Christopher Hitchens

Courtesy of Christopher Hitchens on CNN, who provides probably the quickest turn around of ‘unexpected death to historical legacy bitch slap‘ on CNN last night. I’m happy to see it, because I think Falwell is one of the biggest pieces of shit to inhabit this earth in recent times and I can’t stand people regarding him as a person of faith or belief or someone who actually contributed a single positive thing to humanity or someone who had a ‘mixed legacy‘. The guy was an obnoxious zealot prick. And while I am neither homosexual nor necrophiliac, if I had access to Falwell’s corpse, I’d probably put my penis directly into his butthole to desecrate his god forsaken corpse to facilitate his trip to the gay-filled hell he secretly always dreamed of. (And by the way, the ultimate irony is Fred Phelps of ‘God Hates Fags so I’m going to say this at every funeral’ fame is going to picket Falwells funeral).

I agree Jerry Falwell was a giant piece of shit and I was annoyed about hearing his death because I expected all the news programs to go on about what a great guy he was, or whatever so seeing Hitchens burn his closet homosexual ass was fucking awesome.

I have to say, I was surprised how short the turn around was from hearing about his death to not hearing about him at all. I think he’s one of those people that individuals on the left and right inflated the importance of — in reality, I don’t think he has had any power or impact since the Moral Majority hayday of the 1980′s.

I always forget that Falwell died. Like Jesus, he will always live on in our hearts and make us say inappropriate things at dinner parties.
