Uncle Nader Doesn’t Like Uncle Toms

“To put it very simply, he is our first African American president; or he will be. And we wish him well. But his choice, basically, is whether he’s going to be Uncle Sam for the people of this country, or Uncle Tom for the giant corporations.” — Ralph Nader on the election of Barack Obama

It seems like the common usage has no “allegorical supremacy” associated to it. Why did this reporter give Nader such a rubbing? A guess, the ear-piece that he wears says ” Uncle Tom, that’s racist!” and then that reporter digs deep at Nader.

More clue by clue; Mainstream media (consumerism) thrives on sensationalism, disenchantment, apathy and self-pity because at a very low point there is none who help ourself up or get up without the motivation from an extraneous (temporal) impulse.

I felt inspired by Nader because he has courage to pose a question that is as leading edge of racial integration as ” Uncle Sam (Leader) or Uncle Tom (Sellout)”

When everyone are mere people, wake me up!

Racial Integration? What the hell are you talking about?

Nader said it because it was sensational and the media would notice. He is constantly courting media attention. The only reason why he is in the news anymore is because of the crazy things he says and does (like breaking the world record the for number of speeches in a single day).

Do you really believe he’d use the same terms about John McCain if he had won? No way. Shepard Smith is absolutely right.. do you REALLY want to be the guy to suggest on such a historic day that Obama is an Uncle Tom?

The racial implication of calling a black man an Uncle Tom is real and well known to Americans. Pretending otherwise is delusional.

Uncle Tom is racist as fuck, though not as bad as house nig*. Nader should have just called him a house nig*, a White House nig*.
