When they are sad in their suburbs robots water the lawn

\nWhile the cars in the driveway only multiply.
\nThey are lost in their houses.
\nI have heard them sing in the shower
\nmaking speeches to their sister on the telephone.
\nSaying, You come home.
\nDarling, you come here.
\nDon\u2019t stay so far away from me.
\nThis weather has me wanting love more tangible.
\nSomething I can hold because it\u2019s getting cold.
\nSo lets hold up our fists to the flame in the sky
\nto block out the light that is reaching for our eyes
