As scathingly unforgiving as he is insightful, Portland-based Matt Bors is ProseBeforeHos political cartoonist of the week. In 2010, Bors hopped a flight to Afghanistan (not the easiest of stunts) to offer a more colorful portrayal of how fucked up things were there. Bors has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and is featured regularly in The LA Times, Daily KOS and The Nation. Check out some more of his work here.
