Global Warming’s Burden Of Proof

The educated and expert scientific communities have reached a consensus on global warming’s existence; it’s the skeptics who need to prove not only that the scientists are wrong, but that they themselves are right. It’s a pretty tall order.

    Does the guy realize he’s just repeating the precautionary principle? Does he know there’s such a thing? Is he aware of the criticisms of it? Why doesn’t he convince India and China that slowing down their economic development has no consequence, or be honest with poor people in states with renewable energy requirements that they’re paying a premium for electricity with zero chance of it making any meaningful difference. While most scientist agree with the statement that global temperatures have increased and that man has contributed, there’s no consensus on climate’s sensitivity to CO2, and there’s no consensus on policy.
