They´re making an emphasis in ‘racist’ and ‘communist’ labels Americans try to put into everything. And as I can see from a not-American perspective (I´m from another country) they have a pretty pitiful thoughts
stupid comment.
No, there are actually many more similarities. The first ones are showing the same horrible racism that has existed in this country that we have swept under the rug, when we all know it is still there, and dont feed me that”Oh but we have a black president now so we arent racist” line. That may be true for much of the country, but there are several people that hate the president for the color of his skin alone. The second photo is showing the some fear mongering with the word “communist.” I am sure half the people in those rallies have no clue what communism really is, they just know it’s bad because they have been told by the media and politicians who are out for number one. The use of these pictures is to show how we really arent progressing all that much. It is a worrying concept that we are still so similar to what we were in the ’50s and ’60s. The real problem here is that people refuse to look at the hard evidence and just blindly follow what they are told. Until people start thinking for themselves, this country will be the same angry’ backwards place it proves itself to be so often.

I can’t help but notice that penmanship has gone terribly downhill with regards to protest signs.
