– Imperial Grunts by Robert Kaplan
– The Coming Anarchy by Robert Kaplan
– The Areas of My Expertise by John Hodgman
– Ghost Wars by Steve Coll

can people give me some more recommendations of books to ask for or to read? thanks

Im reading ghost wars right now-that book will knock your socks off. I liked Al Frankens new book “the Truth” its partisan as hell, but funny and accurate. You might also like “Dreams from my Father” by Barack Obama. It’s not so much about politics. Mostly its about race relations. Its really insightful in that respect.
