Prose Before Hos Logo

After the second Republican debate, we had the pleasure of reading a plethora of reviews of who did and didn’t do well. And none managed to do it as biased as Time, who put all the front runners (McCain, Guiliani, Romney) as their top 3 performers of the debate and classified Ron Paul as unelectable because he looks like Mr. Magoo. Check out the pictures below and notice the lack of mentioning of foreign policy or anything else worthwhile for the candidates, unless of course you consider comparisons to cartoon characters an objective part of political reporting:

Keep up the good work, Mainstream Media!

Update: If you’re interested in where this story was placed on CNN, look below:

Yay, politics is barely above the best American Idol performances — this is in goddamn Time, for christs sake. But in the end, I should be thankful, because my two hands are already occupied plugging up my ears, so it’s nice to have the extra Mainstream Media appendage to put the complimentary thumb up my ass.

This Mr. Magoo has better vision than the rest combined.

Let Time do their trolling. This will only increase Ron Paul’s popularity.

I’d have thought that even Time could have come up some a slightly less idiotic criticism of Ron Paul. The insult is especially ironic in that Mr. Magoo’s problem was that he couldn’t see, while Ron Paul’s problem is that he sees things all too clearly (too clearly for the corporate media’s taste, that is). I only hope that Americans listen to the candidates rather than the reviewers, and judge for themselves.

It seems Mr. Paul and Mr. Gravel are the only candidates that are cut out for the job. They are what America truly needs now and it is terribly unfortunate that they aren’t taken seriously by the media. Giuliani takes ignorance to a whole different level with his take on 9/11. I wish he’d get a clue.

    • KC: Apparently you’re unfamiliar with the 9/11 theme song for America:

Lol cyber-rigger, of course he has a better view than all the other candidates combined, didn’t you learn that a negative plus a negative is a lower negative in math class?

Mr Magoo has been elected to the Australian Prime Ministership; if Howard is anything to go by, Paul has no problem in that regard.

    • [...] This is exactly why I read numerous blogs for all my national news needs. The main stream media are just a bunch of asshats. But, one must admit, there is a striking resemblance between the two characters. [...]
