nice post. thanks.
As someone in the public health policy field these numbers are absurd, somebody that’s not a politician needs to do their math. I’m no economist but you can’t increase quality and coverage while lowering cost. Don’t believe everything you read and don’t drink the Kool’Aid, you;re better than that

I, like the rest of the commentators, am a bit dubious about these claims.
They forgot to mention how long patients will have to wait to receive treatment. If your condition isn’t life-threatening, you could be waiting months before receiving treatment. Why do you think so many people in Camada come to the US to revieve treatment.
Secondly, of course so many politicians are in favor of this plan, do you really think that they are going to put themselves or their family in thus healthcare plan? No way!!! While everyone else will be forced under universal healthcare, they will still be receiving private, fast, high quality care. Doesn’t it seems a little strange that they don’t even want to be under the healthcare that they are pushing?
How can you just say “Non-healthcare reform = deficit continues to raise/ healthcare reform = deficit lowers!!”
WOW LIKE MAGIC.
They have no idea how it would actually affect the economy, so putting that in there like it’s an amazing fact just discredits this entire picture.
