Fox News Calls Mr. Rogers An Evil Man
Little did I know, Mr. Rogers was an evil man. By telling children they’re special just for being who they are, he helped create this generation of worthless, lazy socialists who think they’re entitled to health care… at least according to Fox News.
They actually use the word “evil” to describe Mr. Rogers and criticize him for his “optimistic message where everyone was special even if they didn’t deserve it”, which is “ruining kids with a sense of entitlement.” Then one of them starts babbling about how children should go back to churning butter and making their own sweaters. Fox’s Brian Kilmeade said “that man unintentionally did a whole generation or two a disservice.” Only on Fox could a man who spent his life dedicated to public service and education be blamed for ruining generations of Americans.

Oh my god this was the worst video ive ever watched. The whole time i was screaming “oh my god what the fuck” how could people be so stupid? Mr. Rogers has shaped me to who i am today and i am in no shape or form this “lazy good for nothing person who expects things handed to me” Mr. Rogers actually taught work eithics, showing people’s jobs and showing how to do them. The narcissism on this board is ridiculous.
You guys, this came from a professor at Louisiana(?) State university. They to me, sound extremely sarcastic when they say he’s “evil” or an “evil genius” I don’t think they themselves believe it. You should actually listen what they’re saying. It’s the professor’s claim, not FOX’s. They’re just presenting it. They’re being sarcastic about how it would be better if their kids could churn butter and make their own clothes. Gosh people. You all are making me lose more hope in humanity than this news bit. Lets listen to what they’re actually saying- by the end of it, they’re giving their opinion, that it’s fine for Mr. Rogers to say those things – they say, “Mr Rogers? Not so bad.”. Lets not all see “FOX news” and piss our pants and jump to conclusions here.
how dear you defile a man who no longer able to defend himself. let ya who has no sin cast the first stone. no one is perfect, their two group. those who been caught and those who has not been caught. i watch every single one of mr rogers shows and i for one do not blame him for my failures, i do not blame him for my mistakes, i learn a grwat deal from his shows. and i fully intend to pass on his legacy on to my own children.

You all have to be kidding. The reason why so many kids r messed up is NOT because of Mr. Rodgers is evil. Its because he was the only one telling them they were special. Parents today dont tell their children enough they r special. Or that C doesnt matter as long as they tried their best and then you the parent work with your child to do better next time. Any good parent knows what you just said about a man that cant even defend himself, is not only wrong but makes you look on television as an idiot. Come on. Anyone with a little common sense knows if we tell our kids they are great, and they believe it, they grow up as a positive adult knowing whatever they accomplish will be their best for them. Stop feeding our kids that all they have to do is whine n they will expect we owe them the world without working for it. If you guys believe in that junk you just shoveled to your viewers is facts then you were’nt given enough confidence in your growing up years. Shame on you all.
I think the prisoner in Goldmember said it best “I know guys on crack that make more sense than you.” I wonder how the professor of LSU tested his hypothesis? There are just way too many variables out there to solely blame one man. Furthermore Mr., Rogers has been on television since the 60’s so surely these reporters and journalists grew up with him too, not just the younger generations. you could make a better argument that discipline isn’t what it used to be. I grew up with dad that would pinch me every time my shoe was untied or there was something on my shirt. He would always push me to do better, do it right and work hard. A lot of kids get by doing far less so when it comes to school for example, a guy like me that would work and get it done early or on time would get a good grade that another student would complain about the difficulty of the work and ultimately ask for an extension would get.

It was THREE people (and 2 of them didn’t even agree) ! If you hate the fact that this one Fox News commentator lumped EVERYONE who watched Mr. Rogers into a group of “future lazy welfare” recipients, that’s fine. Don’t be a hypocrite and lump everyone who watches Fox News into a category.
This gave me suicidal thoughts and actions.. The fact as I loved Mister Rogers as a child colliding with this made me grow even more anger to Fox Jews
