Popery and Hijinks

Your favorite pope is here once again laying it down hard and in your face with the truth of it all. I spend my days split between running for more than 5% of the G.O.P. primary vote and reading all the national news worth reading. Now why would your Pope go and do that for you? The answer is obvious…I read the news so you don’t have to, then you come here and read what I think is important.

It’s an amazing system isn’t it…

Blackwater USA is finally out of Iraq for shooting the shit out of too many civilians; this time the Iraqi government stood the fuck up. The 9/11 truthies need to get their shiny aluminum thinkin’ caps on cause here’s another political tie-in for your conspiracy puzzle. While the truthies get their story, greens are denied this week in California versus Big Auto with a major wimp out citing “it’s just too complicated for the courts”. After six years of threats and bluster about terror, terrorism, and terroristical tendencies President Bush threatens to veto a bill that actually addresses the impacts of terror. That wilily president…if you look one way, he moves another. He’s like a cheetah, a sexy drunk cheetah. ACLU is out there protecting the rights of sex crazed perverts. Funny how republicans only care about civil rights when it helps them. Human decency seems to only be a facet of bleeding heart liberals, but then again…Who the hell needs Madonna discussing Middle Eastern Peace as a photo op? This dried up wrinkled old cum dumpster only moved to England because America got tired of her saggy ass breasts and fake accent. And in other news no one cares about, a soldier takes a stand against a dangerous vaccine, and is screwed for it. And our affair with OJ gets a shot of love juice.

My friends of friends, expect more terror, bombs, killings, erosions of civil liberties, and at least one celebrity death. President Bush will continue to insist he is “more gooder” while everyone else is “more badder”. And don’t ever forget, if you’re not scared shitless every day of islamofacisimadeupaword, you’re unamerican.

Here’s your Pope signing off, and sending out.

See you on the trail to 2008.

He’s at 4% in the new Gallup poll released today. Romney’s at 7%.

What’s this “top tier” I keep hearing about?

    • That’s not it. So much as if you refute my information, you need to provide the counterpoint.

Basically, you need to do the legwork. Especially since the link I cite isn’t terribly out of date considering you pull info from a release today. If you checked my link it was still a Gallup poll article from the 12th.

However in light of your article from this morning, I will be more than happy have the prod at Pope Ron Paul changed to show he is working hard for 6 percent of the vote instead of more than one percent.

Or you could spend 5 seconds doing the “legwork” Googling for a newer Gallup Poll before misinforming your readers, instead of having to spend 5 minutes later arguing with me about it.

      The order is:

      1) Google
      2) THEN, blog

Ron Paul voters know this, we like Google! And Google likes us:

    • Give it a rest. You’re getting stuffy about an article released today. We made the correction, and have given you due credit for the mistake. No one here sits around tracking when Gallup releases a new poll, if it was released today, there may be a chance that we got our data before the new data was released.

If you want to make sure all your readers have up to the minute information, please feel free to start your own blog, I hear that blogger and wordpress are both free. However, we’ll use the best information we have at hand, and correct and update when we need to (just as we did today).

    • NH

      These polls mean nothing.
PJB won the primary in NH with 27% and he only had 6% in the ‘polls’.

Ron keeps doing very well in the ’straw polls’ in NH where the others can’t get more than a few people out to support them.

    • I recall a congressional investigation into subcontracted security firms’ violations of carrying firearms despite it being illegal. It was a huge deal because it allowed the government to void their contracts recouping tens of millions of dollars. The administration witness claimed that they, in violation of law, do not conduct any oversight on sub-contracted sub-contractors contracts, which incidentally didn’t mention these regulations whatsoever…. Not sure if Blackwater was allowed to carry arms but the firms they employed weren’t. The government claimed there were just too many sub sub contracts to keep up.

    • Buckwheat, NH…

keep hanging up on the poll data all you want. The beef of the article has nothing to do with Ron Paul. It’s a vehicle for satire, nothing more. The data being used is the most up to date Gallup data there is. Get the fuck over it, the post is about much more than just Ron Paul.

And what the heck is PJB?

    • Pat Buchannan……ahahahaa the same ‘religious’ moron who said we should assassinate Hugo Chavez because it would be less expensive than a war….

    • oh shit….

Okay, all Ron Paul supporters just took another step down.

    • I received some interesting Ron Paul propaganda in the mail today. A card flyer listing his platform and wooden pencil with his name on it. For everyone not aware of his running platform, which probably includes everyone, I’ll list his claims below:
      -Never Voted to raise taxes
-Never Voted to raise congressional pay
-Never voted to increase the power of the executive branch
-Opposes NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA, and vows to get us out of the United Nations
-Will end “birthright” citizenship and illegal immigration
-Has never taken a government-paid junket (some help? what is a junket?)
-Does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
-Returns a portion of his congressional office budget to the U.S. Treasury every year.
-Will end our financial dependence on China, Saudi Arabia, and other foreign nations.

This last one is interesting to me, especially since the wooden pencil accompanying the flyer has CHINA printed on it right below the poorly attached eraser (choking hazard?)
In fairness the flyer was paid for by citizens for Ron Paul and was not authorized by any candidate.
      Questions, Comments?

    • I have often seen these claims as well, I have never seen any real evidence either way about it.
